What is Uno Attack?

Uno Attack is a card game that was developed in 2011 and is known as Uno Extreme in some regions. Object of the Game

Be the first player to reach the milestone of 500 points. The player who is the first to get rid of all of the cards in their hand earns points for the cards that remain in their opponents’ hands after they have finished their turn.

Game Play

Each player is dealt 7 cards. Place one card from the deck on top of the Launcher to begin a DISCARD pile. Open the Launcher, insert the remaining cards facedown inside, close the launcher and turn the ON/OFF switch located on the bottom of the Launcher to “ON”. Note:To close the launcher, insert the back of the cover first then press the front downward until it snaps into place. If the unit is turned on you will hear an audible “beep” to confirm the unit has been closed correctly. Important:During play, rotate the Launcher so it always faces the player whose turn it is.

  • This is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you are the one who has to press the button.
  • The first player has to match the card in the DISCARD pile either by number, color or symbol.
  • Or, you can throw down a Special Card, if appropriate (see Special Cards section) (see Special Cards section).
  • If nothing happens, play moves to the next person.
  • Then play passes to the left (until a Reverse card is played – see Special Cards section) (until a Reverse card is played – see Special Cards section).
  • Failure to do this results in your having to hit the Launcher button TWICE.

Choosing a Dealer

Special Cards

Discard All

If you wish to discard all of the cards in your hand that are the same color, you should play this card. Consider the following scenario: If a yellow “7” card appears in the Discard pile, you may discard all of the yellow cards in your hand, with a yellow Discard All card put on top of the pile. (You may also discard a Discard All card on top of another Discard All card if you have two or more Discard All cards.) If this card is revealed at the start of the game, the player to the left of the dealer begins play with a card of the same color, or with another Discard All card, depending on the situation.

Wild All Hit

Whenever this card is played, the player calling the color must push the Launcher button once for each player (starting with the person to the discard player’s left). Any cards that are shot out must be added to the hand(s) of the player who activated the Launcher in the first place. This is because the person who used the Wild All Hit card did not push the Launcher button). After then, the game resumes as usual. The Launcher button must be pressed once by each player (starting with the person to the dealer’s left) if this card is dealt at the start of the game.

Wild Hit-fire

As soon as this card is played, the player who played it yells out a color, and the following player in the direction of play must push the Launcher button repeatedly until the Launcher begins to spew off cards. The activating player adds the Launched cards to his or her hand and forfeits his or her turn, after which the game proceeds as usual with the next player in line. This card is dealt face up at the start of play and is activated by just one player: the player to the dealer’s left. This player must continue pressing the Launcher button until the Launcher is activated.

Going out

The cry ‘UNO’ (which means one) before playing your next to last card must be used when you have one card remaining in your hand. If you do not follow these instructions, you will be required to press the Launcher button TWICE. The only way to avoid being caught by the other players is to avoid being captured at all. However, if you fail to say “Uno,” but “catch” yourself before another player does, you will not be penalized and will not receive a point. You may not catch a player for failing to pronounce ‘UNO’ until their second-to-last card reaches the Discard pile, after which you may catch them.

The act of playing a card or pressing the Launcher button is considered to be the beginning of a turn.

A player may not leave the game while holding a Trade Hands card.

Special Rules

The player who caused the Launcher to activate must take any cards that are still poking out of it and place them in his or her hand once the Launcher has been activated.

End of the Game

The winner is determined by who is the first to reach 500 points. The game may be scored, however, by keeping a running count of the points each player is caught with at the conclusion of each hand, which can then be added together. When a player hits 500 points, the person with the lowest number of points is declared the winner of the game.

Scoring

When you run out of cards, you earn points for any cards that remain in your opponents’ hands in the following ways:

  • Wild:50 points
  • Wild All Hit:50 points
  • Wild Hit-Fire:50 points. All cards through 9:Face Value
  • Reverse:20 points
  • Skip:20 points
  • Hit 2:20 points
  • Discard All:30 points
  • Trade Hands:30 points
  • Wild:50 points
  • Wild Hit-Fire:50 points

Reneging

You have the option of choosing not to play a playable card from your deck. If this is the case, you must press the Launcher button. Your turn has now come to an end.

Penalties

When you have a playable card in your hand, you may opt not to play it.

It is necessary to press the Launcher button if this is your situation. That’s the end of your turn.

Two Player Game

You have the option of declining to play a playable card from your hand. If that is the case, you must press the Launcher button. Your turn has come to an end.

  1. Playing a Reverse card has the same effect as playing a Skip card. The player who plays the Reverse card has the option to play another card immediately
  2. The player who plays the Skip card has the option to play another card immediately. In the event that a Hit 2 card is played and your opponent hits the Launcher button twice, the play is returned to you.

Challenge Game

UNO Attack is a challenge! The winner of this game is determined by keeping a running count of what each player has in his or her hand at any one time. As soon as a player hits a certain sum, for example, 500, that player is removed from the game, and the game continues. When there are only two players remaining in the game, they compete against each other. (See the section on Two-Player Games for further information.) How do you Play Uno Attack? – How Do You Play It

Uno Attack is a variation on the classic Uno game that necessitates the use of a specific Uno deck as well as a unique card launcher. Instead of winning by being the first person to play all of your cards before the other players, like in the classic Uno game, the aim of Uno Attack is for you to be the first player to reach 500 points before the other players. The dealer should play a card that has the same color as the card on the other side of the table.

When a player plays a card, he or she should choose a color that matches the opposite card.

Play proceeds to the left in the usual manner.

Placement proceeds as usual, with the next player to the left taking the helm of the game.

About Uno Attack: Uno Attack is a popular adaptation of the classic Uno game that incorporates the use of an electronic card shooter. The shooter is equipped with a launch button, which, when hit, allows for the discharge of 0-12 cards. In Canada and the United Kingdom, Uno Attack is referred to as Uno Extreme. Because this card is a Wild card, whomever plays it has the option of calling out the color he or she wishes to play and then playing that color

Uno Attack is played in the following ways: A total of 2-10 players may participate in the game at the same time. Despite the fact that the Action cards in the old and new versions are different, the gameplay in both versions is the same. Select a Dealer by utilizing any method that you desire (normally conducted by everyone picking a card and the Dealer is the one with the highest card number). The Dealer shuffles the cards and distributes 7 cards to each player in a random fashion.   • Discard All/Trade Hands are worth 30 points
  • Wild/Wild All Hit/Wild Hit Fire are worth 50 points
  • Wild/Wild All Hit/Wild Hit Fire are worth 100 points

In the case of two players, the rules are as follows: When there are just two players, Uno Attack is played with a little modification to the rules:

  • Because there are only two players, Reverse acts in the same way as Skip. If you play a Reverse card, you will be able to take another turn
  • If you play a Hit 2 card, your opponent will be required to press the Launcher button twice, after which play will be returned to you because there is no one else.

A Different Approach to Gameplay It has been recommended by Mattel that an alternate method of winning the game is to keep track of how many points are still in each player’s account at the end of each round. Official Rules for Playing Uno Attack

It’s time to get down to business and have some fun. Make use of these Uno Attack instructions to get started with the game.

After a player’s second-to-last card reaches the discard pile, other players are not permitted to catch them for neglecting to shout “Uno!” and you are not allowed to call them out after the following player begins their turn. In regular gaming, the winner is the person who is the first to discard all of their cards.

Whenever you run out of cards, you just shuffle them and place them in the launcher. Launchers that include a discard area will notify when the launcher needs to be refilled with ammunition.

Special Cards and Their Rules

Uno Attack has a number of cards that have unique rules that apply to them.
